Eli's 2nd Birthday

For Eli's 2nd birthday, Mommy, Daddy and Emerson took Eli downtown to the Shedd Aquarium! We got to see lots of fishies, enjoyed a lunch out and of course stopped at Molly's for some birthday cupcakes!
Oma and Opa came over to sing to the birthday boy that night! :)

Eli & Emerson's Big Adventure to The Netherlands!

The whole family went to Holland for Oma Buys's 90th birthday...and what a celebration it was! We had such a great time spending time with everyone over there and are so glad we took the trip (despite the pre-trip nerves!).   Eli had so much fun with all of his Dutch family and it was great that everyone got to meet Emerson and Adri too. We are so glad we took the trip! Here are just a few of the highlights, including Tante Ans's retirement party, Oma's party, Carnaval, The Efterling, and family visits...
