Eli's 1st overnight with Auntie Erika and Uncle Todd

Mommy and Daddy went to their friend Ellen's wedding downtown Chicago so Aunt Erika and Uncle Todd (and Lola too!) came and spent the night with Eli.  They had a great time playing together and even got to go out to eat in LaGrange. They said Eli was a very good boy! But Mommy and Daddy sure missed him!!

Eli got to celebrate Lucas's 4th birthday and meet his new cousin Jude.  Eli all of a sudden seemed like such a BIG boy next to Jude and Mommy couldn't believe Eli was ever that small!!!

Eli is actually starting to giggle/laugh.  It is the cutest thing we have ever seen!!! :)

Emily's cousin Eline, who was working in Philadelphia, got to spend a long weekend in Chicago to celebrate Theo's birthday/father's day and to meet Eli!  We spent father's day weekend up in Michigan and had a lot of fun together!

Euro 2012

The 2012 Eurocup was too short and not too sweet for the Netherlands.  This was very unfortunate because Eli had a lot of cute outfits for game days; none of which appeared to be very lucky.

This stylish diaper cover lasted until about 15 minutes into game time until it was thoroughly soiled.

Daddy thought it would be a good idea to dress Eli in his new onsie from Uncle DD at about 10:30am when game time wasn't until 2pm.  Needless to say, it endured a wash and dry all before kickoff.  

We all were hoping this bright orange onsie directly from Holland from cousin Eline would be the good luck charm we so desperately needed, but alas...better luck in 2014 World!

Two Months Old!!!

Where the heck does the time go?!? Eli is already 2 months old! At his 2 month doctor appointment he weighed 12 pounds and 3 ounces and was almost 24 inches long. The doctor said his length in above average - he's going to be a tall boy! He handled his 3 shots like a champ...which is more than we can say about his mother!

Eli needed lots of snuggles with Momma after his shots until he was feeling better.
